Unbeknownst to her, she is part of a sinister plan orchestrated by the ruthless Director, who views Elina's monstrosity as a prototype for an even deadlier creation, Amphitrite. Yet, Elina's story serves as a haunting reminder that monsters are often molded by those meant to protect them – a reminder that society's abuse and neglect can cultivate the very horrors it fears.
