In the wake of her twin sister's death, Ash is lured to a seaside city built on lust and greed. Down on her luck, Ash goes home with Jay, a handsome stranger. He shares a dilapidated mansion with a pack of young surfers. They live wild, as outsiders, and unbeknown to them, with Nebraska, Jay's mystical first love - who exists between the real and the afterlife. Ash becomes entrapped in a tangled web of grief, violence, and passion until love finds her and tears her apart.
