Repairs effected, Clyde Pigg and Sarina Chance make their way to Hong Kong and a reunion with international jewel thief Draeyger Woolfe. Although the plan is to team up with Woolfe to capture the man who set in motion the theft of the Canary's Eye diamond and ultimately free Clyde's brothers from prison, recent events lead them to wonder if Woolfe betrayed them to Sarina's enemies.
Now those enemies know she is headed to Hong Kong and have prepared an ambush.
In light of Clyde's efforts to protect her, Sarina decides to entrust him with her true identity and the reason behind the attack on them in the Philippines.
