St. Sylvan's-at-Rest, a place of pilgrimage, retreat, spiritual learning and renewal would appear, in its own way, a small paradise. Deacon Theodora Braithwaite, however, quickly discovers a motley, irritable party of pilgrims in urgent need of spiritual succour.
