In this short personal travelogue, the author visits the sacred mountain Le Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France. He describes his encounter with the sacred and his own past. Walking through the turbulent history of the Mount's history and through the mysterious streets of the abbey, the author describes how visiting the place changed his heart and his understanding of his own past. His intention was to write a short, intense text, like a small pearl that can be hidden in the palm of one's hand.
