Sometimes, facing a criminal with a railgun is the easy part of the job.

Ace the Fifth is used to facing off against superweapons. It's part of working for the Exceptional Enforcement Division, the hero units. When she discovers a terrorist organization is experimenting on her fellow Exceptionals and then turning them against society, things get complicated.

It's up to Ace to protect their witness while the rest of her unit hunts down clues to try and stop more Antis from wreaking havoc on New Davenport. Things get harder when an obsessed mercenary Exceptional shows up and starts harassing Ace and her fellow heroes.
