The demon pushed off the wall and stalked closer to him, pacing a circle around Marius. Marius held still, allowing the creature to pass behind him even though it made chills crawl up his spine to do it. Facing the demon wouldn't make it any less dangerous...

Under duress, Marius nic Essus summons something from the Underworld and makes a deal with it. Now all he has to do is survive the consequences of that deal without finding himself too badly compromised. Such a shame that demons can be so charming, when they want to. And for some reason it does appear to want to charm him.
