A seasoned Spy is out looking for a place to fall off the map and is pulled back into the job when a submarine shoots down a satellite. He is handpicked for the job once he calls it in. He follows up on a lead that a scientist turns up missing. He finds out they are holding the kid hostage and ends up traveling the world trying to save it with the kid's help.

The author is retired, having worked in factories for 40+ years. Now, he is busy; he has an 11-acre yard and a garden. In the winter, he writes a bit (that's an expensive hobby), does woodworking, and vacations a few times a year. He was always busy and never had to look for something to do. He is married with three daughters, but they are all miles away, so I just see the grandkids when visiting.
