Eternal life is not just living forever. It is a type of life that we are not born with. Eternal life is composed of the attributes of God's nature.

According to God's seed law, living things produce seeds that pass their nature to their descendants. God shares his nature, including eternal life, with us through his words. We partake of eternal life by hearing, believing, receiving, and following God's words and the Holy Spirit to bring the fruit of the eternal life to completion.
