The Manger on the Mantle recounts the tragic life of Mark Spencer, a small-town American who somehow becomes very lost in the massive city of Los Angeles. He doesn't become geographically lost, but he becomes spiritually lost.

As his family falls apart and his world collapses, Mark realizes how far he has strayed from the innocence of his youth. Now, he fears he may never find his way back.

That is when Mark meets a sockless, root-beer-float-toting ex-hippie named Marvin. Together, they journey the road to Bethlehem as they ponder the purpose of a birth that took place over 2000 years ago in a lowly manger.

The Manger on the Mantle is a beautiful story of hope, redemption, and the joyous possibility of second chances.
