The Money Behind the Mouse
Carl Jablonski is a cost control specialist, developing project estimation and cost control functions for the theme park industry. His estimating / budgeting education and experience of over 40 years include these major entertainment companies: Walt Disney Imagineering, George Lucas's LucasArts Attractions, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC, Burbank, CA), Renaissance Entertainment Corporation and RIVA Entertainment, Bechtel Corporation, and Scenery West. His volume of cost work exceeds $5 billion on prestigious entertainment projects including EPCOT at Walt Disney World; Disneyland; Tokyo Disneyland; Disneyland Paris; New World, Hawaii; Magic World, Dubai; Motiongate, Dubai; the Virginia Renaissance Faire, Fredericksburg; Disney Stores, and Texas Wild, Dallas, among others.
Mr. Jablonski is also a miniature model maker and has created miniatures for film, television, and live theatricals.
Mr. Jablonski holds a master's degree in Scenic Design and Theatrical Lighting and a bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre. He is also a Certified Professional Estimator in show construction.
