Chase and Gray Wolf hit the trail looking for outlaws the sheriff of Silver City cannot track. After robbing the Silver City bank, the sons of Steed Bowling seek revenge on those they deem responsible for the death of their pa, blaming Chase and his uncle, along with the sheriff and judge of Silver City. The Bowling boys force Chase and Gray Wolf back on the trail to a trap set to spring at a place of their choosing, Steaming Valley.
Chase has no choice but to bring in his uncle to help find those that threaten their lives. It is never easy working with Gray Wolf, but Chase never backs down from a fight, issuing his brand of justice as he rides with his uncle, who is always looking for the easy way out, trading his way, and dreaming of his next beer. They don't know what to expect around the next bend in the trail as they ride to Steaming Valley, looking for those that swear to hang them.
