When I left going for the village in the afternoon, the weather was clear, and I was informed that the road was in good condition. Despite the heavy rain, I maintained a steady speed, hoping to reach the village before nightfall. Unfortunately, the storm worsened, making the already broken road even more treacherous. With evening approaching and the weather deteriorating, I struggled through the worsening conditions. The cold increased as darkness fell, and I adjusted my clothing for warmth. Unexpectedly, I encountered a large donkey blocking the road, a likely result of the rain further damaging the already poor path. Realizing the danger of attempting to clear the obstruction in such conditions, I decided to wait for morning. As night deepened, I left the car to seek shelter. Climbing a nearby mountain for a better vantage point, I stumbled upon a mysterious figure that initially terrified me. Believing it to be a trick of the light or my imagination, I continued. The fear heightened as I noticed shadowy figures moving with lanterns nearby. Hiding in a dilapidated building, I hoped to avoid them. Despite my fear, the sight of these figures confirmed that the road ahead was too dangerous to navigate further that night. I resolved to wait until dawn to make my next move, uncertain of what lay ahead but desperate to escape the eerie presence around me.
