The Human-Animal Bond is an oft-used phrase that I'm not sure everyone understands. This book provides (I hope) some insight into that bond in showing a girl and her dog, Heather and Sandy, and how they help each other, not just when they both become ill, but in enriching each other's lives. We get so much from animals, I have to hope that we give them as much back. Share this with your friends and children and rejoice in the bond you have with your pets.
