The novel "Red Rock" published in 1961, tells that in 1948, some Communists were arrested and detained by the Kuomintang and were detained in Chongqing "China US Cooperation Institute" concentration camp, they were cruelly tortured but they were unyielding and fought against until had win. It is the most popular contemporary novel in China, and has been translated into 19 foreign languages, including English, French, Russian and Japanese. Luo Guangbin, the author was an underground Party member of the Communist Party of China, he was arrested and imprisoned in the concentration Camp for betraying traitors for about six months. In November 1949, he joined the group escape and successfully got off from the prison.
