Sisters Jean and Merle Cooper have limited time to change the direction of their lives. A scandal and police pursuit forced them on the road to Hollywood California in 1913. Hollywood is bustling with people; movies are being made and Jean and Merle need jobs. Jean can't help but wish that one particular policeman she left behind, Patrick Flannigan, was a part of their new lives.
Merle wants to support her sister and help her achieve her dream of being a stunt woman, but her life choices could affect both her and Jean's burgeoning careers.
