Walt Hazelton is a very successful retired businessman with deep interest in history especially the conflicts between world countries. This contributed to his understanding the background of the war described in his book Dear Folks. He has also published several articles on financial issues as well as a book on poker.


As a senior manager in a large corporation, he has had experience in both leading large groups of people as well as becoming an expert in the process of evaluating labor settlements which resulted in changes made to government's way of calculating labor costs. Also, along with a business associate he led a 3-day seminar in helping large companies in the United States maximize the use of corporate credit cards.


Walt is married with three children. He is very competitive having won several local golf tournaments. He also played for many years leading to competition in senior volleyball Competitions across the country.
