My original composition confirms the value of the Brazilian Birimbau (Orucungo, Berra Boi, Gunga, Viola, Berimbau, etc.) both in terms of its equivalence with the privileged classical notation and of its leadership and performance as the main instrument.
To perform the songs, I instruct the musician to practice "playing by ear" and to read the notation in the classical score, respecting the source of the music, which is linked to the traditions of Brazilian Culture. The inspiration to create my composition comes from my Brazilian Capuêra Culture, also called and written as Kaa-poera, Capuera, Capoera, and Capoeira, among a number of names.
My classical score is innovative and provides a solution for improving the practice and composition of Birimbau and other instruments labelled as "ethnic percussion". This biased and malicious language triggers cultural appropriation and apartheid.
To teach you to play correctly and fix the problem at its cultural and artistic root. I updated the score for Birimbau and percussion with the treble and bass clefs used in sheet music for violin, piano, flute, cello, sax, timpani, etc., from the $-snobbish taxpayers.
