Bennie Barrier returns in another big city adventure. Whilst Bennie attends Rupert, The Recycler's new experimental event at the football stadium, Carlton Cone takes the Maintenance Team on a perilous mission to clear out the blocked sewers underneath the city toll bridge. When Tilly Trolley comes face to face with her sister, Tricia Trolley, at the football stadium, past arguments cause resentment leaving Tricia feeling jealous of her sister being picked to demonstrate Rupert's new invention. When two retired traffic lights cause a dangerous collision on the toll bridge, Highway Harry calls on Bennie Barrier and the rest of the Maintenance workers at the demonstration for help but Carlton Cone has his own agenda.
