Synopsis: Aboard a boat bound for the New World from the California coast, the passengers encounter difficulty dis-embarking at Revolutionary War France, so continue on to the Americas. There is something about the opportunity to escape their past that two of the passengers cannot tell anyone about. They love their new romance, and have neighbors who are a family. Those are traveling to a wedding, and a fortune.

Autobiography: As a sailor, and a writer there have been three marine vessels in Alaska that I have been aboard, and each one has been retired due to El Nina some years, ago. The stay there is a pleasant one. The Inside Passage journey where land is visible and the currents and waves are obviously calm is a very beautiful voyage getting there.
