In ancient times, Lycian cities such as Olympos, Xanthos, and Patara were today's London, Paris, and Istanbul. It was the region where the never-extinguishing fire of Olympos, the world's first democratic parliament building was located. Moreover, it was the birthplace and religious center of Santa Claus. Living in Lycia was like watching the world's most beautiful view from the front row in these lands where the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean embrace. Lycian ports served as busy trade centers as well as hosting the slave trade. At the same time, they were also the meeting point for people from different parts of the world. Sometimes, these meetings caused the birth of great love and pain.
