Sarah McAdams thinks she knows her husband, Jonathan, well after ten years of marriage. During that time he has devoted himself to writing a novel of literary significance, so Sarah is surprised when he willingly accepts an opportunity to take over a popular series written by a recently deceased thriller author. Since she has been supporting him emotionally and financially all this time, she can understand why he might feel this is his chance at independence. However, she is not certain that this is a good for him or their marriage. Sarah soon finds that this is but the first of many surprises, and those that come in the future may jeopardize both her marriage and her freedom.
