One late night, a maintenance man working in the theater reached over to turn off the lights when something moved from underneath a tarp, and a story was born. Vampire bats flew out and bit him, but they never dreamed he would bite them back. This led him to absorb their power and sacred blood. Amidst the mayhem, he and an outcast bat became fast friends, with the little bat ended up teaching him the ropes of being a vampire and prepared him for an army of monsters thirsty for the blood of the ancients. And because of their telepathic abilities, the monsters are aware if his existence and whereabouts.
Hiding in plain sight, he continues working in the theater, even as he struggled with his secret. After all, who can he tell? However, his trusted friends and coworkers were converted into creatures of the night. And along with him, they prepared for the coming of the monsters, even as they juggle between mastering their newfound abilities and running a theater.
A one-way bat plague is sweeping across the land, leaving death and destruction in its wake. Revenge burns hot in the hearts of the enemies. They're almost here. . .
