This story is being released for the many, many people who wanted more information on how Jackal and Vlad ended up together in Flawlessly Imperfect. It is not a stand-alone story, and if you aren't familiar with The Omega Auction and The Omega Rescue series', you will want to read (at the very least and in order) Buyer Beware, A Solstice Eve to Remember, and Flawlessly Imperfect before reading this story.
