Writer Francisco Rojas is working on his next crime novel. A wave of femicides is sweeping Mexico City, and no one seems to have a clue as to who is committing them. Francisco becomes involved in a scene after a night of drinking that he can't remember, which makes him suspect that he is the only person who has been face to face with the femicide. He becomes embroiled in a mystery deeper than he imagines, as he struggles with his alcoholism and discovers his homosexuality in the company of a submissive young writer, who represents an increasingly toxic relationship; together they reveal the stark secrets of a psychopath no one knows and a crime no one has solved.
