Angela was a 17-year-old high school honor student. She had never been a problem for her parents—-at least not until she met 20-year-old Joey Spinelli. He rode around on a Harley, an action that appealed to Angela. She wanted to take a walk on the wild side and started dating Joey. Everything was fine for a few weeks, but things soon changed. It began when she caught him lying about things in his past like where he went to school. As he concealed more, he also lied more about things that were easy for her to research.

As time passed, things started to unfold. He became controlling and possessive. As her suspicions increased, so did her fears. She enlisted the help of Bill Winters, her brother's roommate and Orange County detective. What he discovered was unnerving! The information and further incidents led her to break up with him. He didn't take it well as became obvious when she started receiving harassing phone calls she suspected was Joey. In addition, someone kept following her; she found out later the car was registered to his brother.

About a month after their breakup, he and some of his boys broke into the house while everyone was in bed and raped her.
