The epic of 'Daedal Convergence' (Book 2 in the Pariah Series) continues to play out among the people of Rhivian 4, as a small band of pariahs flee and become shipwrecked on another world. Three of these castaways have become unwittingly entangled in the new planet's political struggles, from which they cannot disentangle themselves. For the other two, their mission becomes a fight for survival and a strain to find any other living being on the planet.

On Rhivian 4, the struggle for the underground rebels intensifies as Psicom continues its relentless hunt for them.
