The night before, the deaths of three vampires shocked the world of immortals. It's been four hundred years since the last vampiric death. Four hundred years since Wraith and Death's little spat, and it seems the pair are destined to butt heads once more, with Helen's city their battlegrounds.
The two vampires have been preparing for this for centuries, making their plans and readying their bodies and minds. They aren't the only ones who have been preparing, however.
