Once we hit our 40s, it's time to stop dreaming. The best way to create a new dream is to manage our money well and build a solid financial foundation.
We have tons of stuff to do in our 40s, including sending kids to college, paying for weddings, and helping with home down payments. We don't have time to be in debt.
We can start with Series "I" and "EE" bonds as a savings foundation and then move on to Treasury Notes and Bonds.
We want to start a dividend growth investing portfolio along with a small options trading account to trade long strangles.
Ultimately, income is what we need in our 40s. We need to generate more money than we spend. Understanding finances is the way to do that. Good Luck!
