Imogene Brown, wanting to settle down and marry, travels by train from Massachusetts to Texas to attend a matchmaking dance. At the dance, she meets several kind, handsome, eligible men, but no one really sparks a chord within her until she meets Adam.
Adam Kelso loves his life. He trains horses on his large ranch. The only thing missing from his life is someone to love. When he hears about the matchmaking dance, he immediately decides to attend.
