Stand-up comic Jack Boston is fond of saying, "This one will make you die laughing!" The only trouble is that he means it literally. It's really Jack's nightclub act that's dying. And he can't stand it. In fact, it's driving him insane — and he blames everybody else for his failures. He wonders if they deserve to live.
He once was the darling of the big-time gambling casinos. He was voted Entertainer of the Year three years in a row. But that was fifteen years ago, and times have changed. Jack's dirty jokes are no longer in vogue.
