The Last Passenger is an explosive and engrossing novel that belongs to the psychological thriller sub-genre where suspense, mystery, and supernaturalism complement each other in perfect harmony. Taking place in the background of an almost interminable train trip, the story is about Claire, a woman suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to a train crash she witnessed years before. Late one day she takes a train and it is very strange when she sees herself being the only passenger in the train, and the train starts moving on the track She is taken through an Ordeal which brings her face to face with her greatest fear and secret guilt. The train becomes a version of purgatory where Claire has to find out what happened in order to get out of the mystery and deal with the apparitions of the supernatural world. The Last Passenger is filled with tension, in scene and color; in daring, graphic description, and a suffocating sense of impending doom; it is a novel of survival, guilt, and the relentless karma that is the past. The kind of narrative that will give readers heart palpitations, their heads spinning about what is actual and what is strictly unreal by the story's end.
