A collection of three tales - two short stories and one novella, each exploring the werewolf myth from a different angle. In "The Wolf Hunt" the line between savior and destroyer is blurred when a big game hunter is sent to rid an 18th century German village of the supposed wolf pack that's terrorizing it. Psychologically probing, "The Werewolf of Hagen" is set in a small, quiet North American town that suddenly develops a predator problem. When two boarding house mates get involved, each with diverging intentions, fact and fiction, and right and wrong, become less clear as events unfold. In "Turnskin" a peaceful werewolf who lives a life of solitude and self-control finds his secret in jeopardy when a new neighbor moves in across the street, setting in motion a string of life altering events.
