David Miller has an opportunity. A faithful friend will publish his book and jump-start his career, but David has issues. He is a raging alcoholic who is simultaneously addicted to women and abuses them. He is also a low-rent thug who robs tourists in Las Vegas with his unhinged comrade Norman, both having dangerous ties to the local mobster Jojo No Eyes. And then there are David's visions that contain messages from the Great Beyond. As his real life becomes more destructive and outrageous than the fiction he writes, the two blend together in a vicious cocktail.
