Panthea, a magically gifted teenage girl from a famous family of magicians, also trained in martial arts by one of the perfect assassins and also a bodyguard, falls into conflict with the law. He violates the edict of the Council of Mages, prohibiting entry to the temple where magic adepts acquire the Star, a magical gem that allows them to develop conventional magician abilities. After entering a forbidden place, she is caught, tried and sentenced to exile by the Council. Brutally deprived of her powers, she finds herself in a world discovered by her grandfather and father several years earlier. Conscripted into the Penal Legion, she goes on a suicide mission with him on the orders of the Council. The legionnaires, caught in an ambush, turn into the service of the Triumvirate and sorcerers from another world. They are transferred to the place where the Triumvirate rules, with which her compatriots have been fighting in the place of exile for several years. The rebels are trying to take advantage of their presence and offer cooperation to Maradox, the Legion's commander. Panthea, looking for a way to return home, becomes a link between the Legion and the rebels. Entangled in various intrigues, she is pursued by the Triumvirate Special Services, and at the same time supported by a mysterious ally who effectively hides her identity. In the fight to return to her home world, she must overcome unknown places and eliminate ruthless opponents.
