"The Tarzan Collection - Volume IV" collects the tenth, eleventh and twelfth novels from the enormously popular twenty-four volume Tarzan series by adventure fiction writer Edgar Rice Burroughs. This collection contains "Tarzan and the Ant Men," "Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle" and "Tarzan and the Lost Empire."

In the first of these tales (a truly bizarre installment), Tarzan stumbles across the remote jungle land of Minuni, whose inhabitants are a quarter the size of average humans. Drawn into their civil conflict, Tarzan is captured by a hostile Minuni tribe...and is himself shrunken down to a fraction of his size and made a slave. Now, Tarzan must not only escape his bonds, but must also find a cure to restore him to his true self.

Next, in "Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle," Tarzan encounters the ancestors of a group of knights and crusaders who ran astray on their way to the Holy Land centuries earlier. Their modern-day descendants still maintain a culture based on their Medieval predecessors, but have broken into two warring factions with which Tarzan must contend.

Finally, we have "Tarzan and the Lost Empire," Tarzan is called upon to help rescue a German archaeologist who has disappeared into the jungle. In exploring the area where the archaeologist went missing, Tarzan stumbles upon the remains of an ancient settlement of the Roman Empire and finds himself (again) caught between two rival kingdoms struggling for dominance.

Tarzan is among the most popular fictional characters in all of literature and his tales have been adapted into dozens of animated and live-action films as well as television and radio series and comic books.

The books contained in "The Tarzan Collection - Volume IV" are presented in their original and unabridged format.
