"Jungle Tales of Tarzan" is the sixth book of the enormously popular twenty-four volume Tarzan series of novels by adventure fiction writer Edgar Rice Burroughs.

In this volume, we jump back in time to when Tarzan was just a teenager, honing his skills as a fearsome and mighty hunter/warrior, years before he encountered any white explorer in Africa. Each story in this volume is a separate adventure for young Tarzan as he encounters various adversaries and allies, including beasts, witch doctors, and bloodthirsty jungle warriors on his journey to become a man.

Tarzan is among the most popular fictional characters in all of literature and his tales have been adapted into dozens of animated and live-action films as well as television and radio series and comic books.

"Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar" is presented here in its original and unabridged format.
