Südafrika - Lesotho - Namibia - Äthiopien! Meine erste Reise in Afrika und meine erste Reise mit dem Auto. Mein 71. Geburtstag brachte mir einen Reifenplatzer mitten in der Wüste und einen zweiten in einer kleinen Namibischen Stadt. Am gleichen Abend bin ich auf der Flucht vor Hunden gestürzt und konnte am Tag drauf auch noch ein afrikanisches Krankenhaus von innen kennenlernen. Was für ein Trip!!! 6000 km insgesamt, 3500 km davon in einem Kleinwagen von Renault (Neupreis ca. 4000 Euro) und 2500 km in einem Wohnmobil.
