The planet New Hope is a new beginning for humans. It was chosen because it is within ten percent of being like Earth in the atmosphere, gravity, distance from the star, rotation, seasons, and axial tilt. In many ways, the planet is very different. These are the stories of seven individuals all going to New Hope for different reasons. They all want to start a new life and it will be a struggle to start over on a new planet with no infrastructure. Satellites and probes have scanned the surface. They are told there is no intelligent life, but they are wrong.
