Some people come across your life and they change it forever, but some people´s disappearance changes your life forever. My mother´s existence and her untimely death did both of those things for me.

I do not know if someone will ever read this book.

I don't even know if it's any good.

All I know is that each year I miss my mother more and more and I hope nobody will ever go through what I went through.

This is the story of a woman who fought against an incurable disease for 17 years.

I wrote this book 7 years after her death.

It´s my way of honoring her forever. I wish I was strong and brave enough to make it my way of saying goodbye, but I wonder if there is such a thing as saying goodbye to the human being who is the reason you live and walk the earth. And, since I cannot come up with an answer, here it is Mother, a novel that I needed to write to show my eternal vow of everlasting admiration and love.
