Olivia has been dealing with the abandonment of her father since she was a child. He abandoned her mother and her in order to marry another woman and start a new family. Despite her desire to reestablish some sort of relationship with her father, Olivia recognizes that her father's narcissistic behavior will never allow him to be the father she always desired. She must accept the terrible reality of being a fatherless daughter or risk losing her happiness.
