A mother braids her daughter's hair and in turn weaves in her a network of ancestral memories: bits of hereditary knowledge that are perpetuated through touch and orality. Thus, in this symbolic act, the wisdom of an extensive lineage of women who have already passed through the experience of life is transmitted. In this story, the senses that cross generations of women are compiled and are installed in the present to modify it. They are small reflections and advice that only remain if they are shared, as when we learn to braid our braids.
