Why is Seattle showing up on Homeland's vulnerable targets list? The analysts wonder why it is not number one on the hit parade. They explain that it is due to politics. A city with socialists elected with other feel-good councilmen; the criminal element votes 100% democrat and why not. The police no longer investigate any property crimes. Steal all you want and smoke pot on the all the public streets. But with no elected sheriff, the Mayor runs the police force, what there is of it. They average almost one fatal shooting a day.
Homeland and the Marines see a major land attack coming where they will sink most of the ships in the port and then fade away into the crowds. Neither the Mayor nor Governor will raise a hand, except to ask for federal aid to rebuild the city. No businessman wants Marines on a corner protecting the city. No one will call them for help.
The remaining police in the county are spread too thin and will never get into Seattle to do any good.
The FBI has its own command chain, but they are not the military force that is needed to defeat any armed, trained military force in the city.
Will Seattle become a pile of rubble? Maybe they deserve what is about to happen to them?
