Since the death of his mother in Braunschweig, Paul has not been able to get out of his wheelchair, even though there are no health obstacles. His relatives and friends are sad that the boy is separated from everyone, but they don't know how they can help him. Paul withdraws into his inner world and does not allow anyone to penetrate his shell. One day he visits the Technical Museum in Wolfsburg, where he meets a robot called Robo. A single glance is all it takes for the two lonely souls to recognize each other and immediately begin an extraordinary friendship. They spontaneously decide to help each other and run away from the museum together. Although his body is made of metal and screws, Rob's heart is capable of feeling love and pain, and his head is full of dreams that confuse him. This is further compounded by the presence of the beautiful Olivia, a water hydrant standing outside the store. While they are wanted on all sides, they spend the best days of their lives in his house on the raft. The two protagonists have the opportunity to come to terms with their own identity and their previous lives and finally come to the realization they have been looking for for a long time. Everything would be ideal if it weren't for this old gossip from the neighborhood who can't take her eyes off them. Relatives and the museum employee are hot on their trail. Whether they manage to escape or remain separated forever is only written in the stars!
