On August 25, 1970, at 6:30 p.m., Alexander Marcel Andre Sebastian Barker Bailiff, protected the chief justice of the High Court of Australia because of the ruling on the controversial Mabo case, a native title case. This incident led him to suing police commissioners, directors of public prosecution, ombudsman, and other key people involved, directly or indirectly, in the case.
Aware that what he is doing is no child's play, especially that the people involved are high-ranking officials of Australia, he still pursued his quest for justice and took appropriate steps to do what is right. With people, specifically Vanessa Camille Baylis, behind him he felt doubly courageous to pursue the right path.
