This essay sheds light on what is celibacy, explicates why certain men choose to be celibate men, and demystifies the benefits of being celibate. Succinctly stated, "celibacy is the state of voluntarily being unmarried and sexually abstinent". In other words, people who are celibate abstain from entering the dating market, desist forming a long-term relationship with a woman, do not get married, and remain celibate throughout the entirety of their lifetime. People who are celibate also refrain from engaging in amatory activities. People who are celibate do not follow a traditional lifestyle. A man who, for instance, is celibate forgoes the opportunity to become a husband and a father. A man who, for instance, is celibate also does not bear the brobdingnagian responsibilities of being a husband and father which can be highly time-consuming to attempt to diligently fulfill. It stands to preponderantly reason that people who are celibate live unconventional lives. It is a seamless process for people to be celibate. In stark contrast to the ease of being celibate, if a man is interested in starting his own family unit, then it can be eminently cumbersome for him to find a partner in the dating market, especially if he lacks the desirable attributes that women deem to be attractive in a man which encompass a tall height and an attractive face. Women are often deterred to date a man who they deem to be unattractive. Even though men need to possess both an attractive face and a tall height to be deemed attractive to women, certain women are amenable to making a dispensation to lower their standards for finding a partner by dating an affluent man even in contexts in which he lacks desirable attributes. Certain women may however date an affluent man who lacks the desirable attributes of a tall stature and an attractive face in contexts in which they are willing to lower their standards for finding a partner.
