Educational audiobook for children that talks about emotions and sadness. Emotions are the ways we react to what happens around us. There are many different types of emotions. They are all equally important because emotions allow us to express and understand what's going on inside of ourselves as well as the people around us. Emotions have a limited duration which means that they don't last very long. Sadness is a negative emotion that produces an unpleasant feeling of pain and sometimes we express it through crying or tears. Crying is just one way of showing our emotions. It's important for others to know how you feel so that they can help you feel better. In certain situations it is normal to feel sad like when we have to say goodbye to a person we love who we won't see again for a long time, when our pets get sick, when we lose our favorite stuffed animals, or when a classmate doesn't want to play with us. Sometimes it might not seem this way but all emotions are equally necessary. This is why it is very important to learn to listen to them and express them because they allow us to understand how we feel. When we know how we feel, we can communicate that to the people around us. Also, if we learn to recognize our own emotions, we can better understand how other people are feeling.
