Each year is hotter than the last and the levels of carbon dioxide and other harmful greenhouse gases continue to rise. For these and other reasons, the United Nations has made climate action one of its main sustainable development goals. Climate change is affecting all countries with no exceptions. Sea and ocean levels are rising and weather phenomena are becoming more extreme. We need to be aware of the climate change that our planet is undergoing, and we must try to minimize its effects as much as possible.
