About the Author
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin. At the age of twenty, I met my future husband. He was in the Air Force in Madison. After dating we decided to marry. We left Wisconsin and married in his hometown of Chicago. He passed away of cancer at forty-five. Our family consisted of three sons a daughter and family pets. There were dogs, cat, hamster, mouse, and a gold fish. I decided after the children were grown to move to Tennessee. At that time, there were two dogs and a cat. The cat meowed all the way to my new home. The children had driven two trucks there with me and helped me get settled in. My oldest son stayed to help get things arranged and do some painting.
