The Second Chance series starts with Glarney Fered, I a low level criminal, living on planet Corin. Glarney is hired as a bodyguard for a mysterious religious man. His employer tries to kill Glarney in one of the epic battles of all time. As a result of the battle, Glarney gains paranormal skills. Glarney then begins an adventure journey, during which he survives only because of his paranormal skills. Glarney finds that he is a kivosh, who can live forever, by acquiring the life force of living creatures. He also finds that the penalty for being a kivosh is death. During his adventure journey, Glarney becomes Justin Imperiale, the King of several countries, an Emperor and a sort of demi God, plus an important man in dimension 4 and dimension 5 space.
Justin deals with advanced civilizations from off Corin. The advanced civilizations would kill Justin, but he's making them too much money and he's using off Corin plants and inventions to improve the lives of his Corin subjects.
It's a wild ride, with near magical technology, thinking and planning. Buckle up and take the ride!
